Andy Griffith Homeplace, Mt Airy, NC
One of TJ's favorite TV shows is the Andy Griffith Show, and in April, 2015, he got the opportunity to stay in Andy's homeplace, where Andy grew up.
While the house has changed somewhat since Andy lived there, it was still a very special experience for the whole family. DVD's of the Andy
Griffith Show is provided and we watched several episodes. What a great experience watching the show in Andy's home! They even provided an
Andy Griffith Trivia game which we gathered around the dining room table to play. The homeplace is now owned
by the Hampton Inn in Mount Airy, and can be reserved through them.
