TJ visited the Hampton Inn & Suites University Area, Winston-Salem, NC in May 2015 when he attended the Winston-Salem Classic Hamfest with his dad and grandfather. This is a newer hotel with all of the amenities. TJ really enjoyed this stay, which was in a Queen Suite where the staff had created interesting sculptures of animals out of the towels. They are shown below and to the left as well. In addition, he was treated to a complete hotel tour by General Manager Summer Combs and she even showed him the elevator machine room. This hotel is conveniently located to Wake Forest University and to restaurants and shops in the area. It is definitely recommended by TJ if you're ever staying in the area.
