We met GM Bobby Howard in 2013 when TJ was invited to the grand opening of the Hampton Inn in Huntington, WV. Now Bobby is the GM of the new Home2 Suites in Knoxville, TN, and he invited TJ again to tour his hotel. TJ had a wonderful visit with Bobby and his staff and was even made an honorary team member at the morning huddle. Bobby gave us the complete behind-the-scenes tour, and really made our stay a memorable one. If you're in West Knoxville, this is the place to stay. It's a completely green hotel, with LED and CFL lighting in the rooms and common areas. Solar panels on the roof provide around 35% of the power for the hotel, making it extremely energy efficient as well. The lobby is bright and cheerful, and the well stocked breakfast area offers a variety of options, all of them tasty. The rooms are large and comfortable, complete with refrigerators and microwaves, along with ample charging stations for all of your portable electronics.
