Hotel Roanoke, Roanoke, VA
The Hotel Roanoke was built in 1882 by the Norfolk and Western Railroad. When it was originally built, it had 34 rooms, which had grown to 384 by
1989. A conference center was added in 1995, and the same year it was listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register. The following year, 1996, it
was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. |
