Biltmore Estate Christmas 2013
| Here is some footage we took on the grounds of Biltmore Estate over Thanksgiving Weekend this year. We had gone up to Asheville with my grandparents and went to a Christmas twilight tour of the Biltmore Estate which was pretty neat! We ate at the Stable Cafe and did a little bit of shopping as well. Footage is all outside of the actual house as there is no photography allowed inside the house itself. I had a lot of fun riding that historic Otis elevator inside. I had ridden it in the daytime back in 2012 when we went to Biltmore with my Aunt Brenda & Uncle Wendell but I must say it was a lot more fun to ride it when it was dark outside as you notice the cab light more (or at least I did). Historic Chimney Elevators at Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC
| We have filmed these before but never get tired of these historic elevators which are in Ripley's Believe it or Not. We had stopped by the Grove Park Inn to see the Gingerbread Houses and Christmas Trees over Thanksgiving Weekend. That video will be coming soon. I took the opportunity to ride the 2 historic chimney elevators again. These elevators are 100 years old and even though they don't have the original fixtures, they are still neat to ride :) These are maintained by Asheville Elevator Company which is a wonderful company, see Asheville Elevator Company Testimonials. Countdown to My 4th Anniversary on Youtube

This video marks the countdown to a very special tour of a special hotel & believe it or not, it is not a Hampton although Hamptons are pretty special to me. :) This video shows the breakfast that the Inn @ Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, TN has. Some of the footage mom took, she went by a little too fast but it still shows what it was like. :) We stayed here for part of our fall break this past October. It was part of mom's present from dad back in June for their 24th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in the Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus Suite which was pretty neat. Mini Hotel Tour of the Hampton Inn in West Knoxville, TN
| This is a very nice Hampton. Thank you to the front desk staff for giving me the neat gifts. This Hampton was booked up at the time of our visit so we didn't get a room tour but the front desk staff did give us a key that would get us into the business, fitness centers. They have an outdoor pool which we showed from the window as it was kind of rainy off and on the day we visited. This Hampton has 2 buildings which the one building has the neat scenic Dover elevator which can be seen in the video at this link

Mini Tour of the Clarion Inn Willow River Sevierville, TN
| This is a neat place to explore. The hotel is made to resemble Tara in Gone with the Wind movie and as you will see in the video, they have a Rhett Butler & Scarlett O'Hara Fall Harvest display outside. Scenic Thyssenkrupp Elevators at Bass Pro Shop in Kodak, Tennessee
| This was a very neat Bass Pro Shops. We stopped here on our way back to Pigeon Forge from a day in Knoxville exploring the Hampton Inns. There is a very nice restaurant inside of this BPS called Uncle Buck's Grill which we decided to eat at as we were about to go looking for a good place to eat after this stop. I would recommend Uncle Buck's as it was a neat place to eat at and has very good food. We enjoyed the scenic glass ThyssenKrupp elevators out in the main part of the store also. Night Ride on The Smokey Mountain Wheel in Pigeon Forge, TN
| Taking a ride on the new Smokey Mountain Wheel located at The Island in Pigeon Forge, TN. Pretty cool light effects. We got the day and night time passes. First time we rode it was the night time version which is this one. We also ate at Timberwood Grill which is located near the Wheel which was a neat atmosphere and good food. :)
